In 1996, Citroën launched the Berlingo, thereby creating the leisure activity vehicle sector. Originating from the LCV sector, Berlingo offered a perfect combination of practicality and comfort.
The VP version appealed to families as well, with a spacious and functional interior. And so the perfect alternative to large monospaces was introduced to the market. Its versatility and sociability contributed to its success. In 2000, a second lateral sliding door was added to the Berlingo (as in the model shown here).
